NDATS has Trained Fire, Rescue and EMS
Our programs enhances first responders understanding of autism spectrum disorder through both in-person and virtual training. Learn to recognize common ASD behaviors and respond effectively to calls involving autistic individuals. The training provides specific crisis intervention strategies and information about community resources for families affected by ASD. By completing this program, police, fire and rescue responders develop greater confidence and competence when interacting with individuals on the autism spectrum, improving outcomes for all parties involved.
