NDATS offers specialized training to help organizations better understand and support individuals with Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD), a condition that affects how the brain receives and responds to sensory input. Through workshops and consultations, teams learn practical strategies to recognize sensory sensitivities and create sensory-friendly spaces and events that foster comfort and inclusion for the neurodiverse community.
Commercial Organizations
This course is designed to provide a basic understanding of the brain functioning and
information processing of neurodiverse
individuals. This course will look at topics
related to sensory processing in order to support neurodivergent individuals navigating a
neurotypical world. This course will share
strategies and tools that could be used in your organization.
From Gatekeepers to Change Agents: Employer Relations’ Role in Neuro-Inclusive Hiring
This 60-minute interactive session is designed
for Employer Relations and Career Services
professionals and will focus on practical ways
ER&CS teams can influence more neuro-inclusive
hiring practices, from employer preparation
through interview processes and partnership conversations.
Neuro-Inclusive HR Training
This course is designed with human resources in mind. ASD and other individuals sometimes struggle to work in a neurotypical setting. Taking the time to look at your setting though a lens of a neurodiverse mind will allow organizations, and community agencies to make changes to be more inclusive to all individuals. This course hopes to help improve the workplace for neurodiverse employees.
