Sensory Support Kits

Sensory Kits Support Safer Encounters
Sensory kits in first responder vehicles provide critical support for individuals with autism, PTSD, dementia, or sensory processing disorders. Those experiencing sensory overload can regulate using items like sunglasses, ear plugs, fidget tools, and communication cards. These kits give police, firefighters and other first responders the means to quickly reduce distress, helping individuals feel safe and cooperative, and leading to better outcomes for everyone involved. Equipping response vehicles with these kits is a powerful commitment to neuroinclusivity. These are also great for families to have in their own cars for emergency situations, hospital waiting rooms and other unplanned stressful situations.
Order kits for your station, your vehicle, or for a family. Contact NDATS to place an order.
